This page features various tools that can be helpful in the process of designing a website.

Color Picker

Use the tool on this page to find the exact color you need. The color you are “picking” shows up in the square to the right. Use the vertical box to browse the color spectrum, then fine tune the color tone and intensity in the large square. Finally get your six digit “hex” color code starting in the “#” symbol from the box at the top. This is the number I need. For example the hex code for the color white is #ffffff, the code for pure black is #000000 etc..

Font Sizes

Due to the wide range of methods used to define font sizes, both on websites and in various computer programs, it can be difficult to communicate exact font sizes.. Use this page to take out the guesswork. Two font styles are represented, the basic san-serif set and the basic serif set. The sizes range from tiny to fairly large sizes. Simply find the prefferred size and report the size. ( look for a line like this: "Size: 12px", that's the size in pixels, 12)
